Henry Browne, Farmer
This film continued the WWI convention of connecting work on the farm with the front lines of the war effort.
This film is unique, however, for using an African American farmer as the main subject. The film never mentions this fact and was narrated by Canada Lee. Presumably, the USDA created this film for an African American audience.
USDA, 1942.
