I care about successful design, substantial ideas, and inclusivity. I co-curated an exhibit about food at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, currently on view. Before that, I created When Beans Were Bullets, an exhibit of war-era food posters at the National Agricultural Library.
I solve problems and clarify ideas. I also research + develop exhibits, paint murals, design signage, edit thesis papers, advise students, and lead tours.
I am an original thinker and astute observer who works well in many roles. I am a designer, creative director, content strategist, professor, curator, food historian, and former disguise technician. I am happiest being multi-disciplined and hands-on.
Clients trust me to transform spaces with large-scale murals. I am available to create original, site-specific designs that fit a specific physical space or context.
