Printed under the direction of Henry Wessel in his photography course at the San Francisco Art Institute.
While in graduate school, I held two positions at P&P. I worked full-time digitally photographing glass-plate negatives from the George Grantham Bain Collection (for JTT). I also completed an archives practicum with the curator of the poster collection, Elena Millie. The following semester, I interned at the Smithsonian Museum of American History where I digitized sketch books and other materials of Ralph Baer, the inventor of the video game.
During the five years I lived in San Francisco, I volunteered regularly for the National Park Service as a docent on Alcatraz Island. I conducted many behind-the-scenes tours, led school groups from SFAI and worked on a few graphic design projects to benefit the island and the Park Rangers.
